Fix the leak, not the whole roof

Roof Repair

Not every roof needs replacing. If a repair is the right call, that is what we will tell you — and what we will quote.

What we repair

  • Active leaks. We trace the water back to its actual entry point instead of smearing sealant where the ceiling stain is.
  • Wind-lifted and creased shingles after a storm, including broken seal bonds that look fine from the ground.
  • Failed pipe boots. The single most common leak we find on Ozarks homes — cracked rubber collars on plumbing vents, usually 8 to 12 years old.
  • Flashing. Chimney counter flashing, step flashing at walls, skylight kits, and valley metal.
  • Missing shingles and small hail-damaged sections.
  • Emergency dry-in when a roof is open and weather is coming.

Where we will not lead you on: if your roof has widespread hail bruising or the shingles are at the end of their life, a repair is money you will spend twice. We will show you the photos and let you decide.

Common questions

Does insurance pay for a whole new roof, or just repairs?

It depends on how much of the roof is damaged and what your policy says. In Missouri, most homeowner policies cover hail and wind damage. If an adjuster finds enough hits per test square, the carrier typically pays to replace the slope or the roof rather than patch it. If the damage is isolated, they pay for a repair. We document the roof either way and give you the honest read — a repair does not become a replacement because it is easier to sell.

How long does a roof replacement take?

A typical Ozarks house is one day for tear-off and install, plus a cleanup pass. Bigger or steeper roofs, or homes with multiple layers, run two days. Weather is the only wildcard, and we would rather move a start date than dry-in a roof we cannot finish.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — licensed and insured, and we carry the certificates to prove it. Ask for them before you sign anything, with us or with anyone else.
